Parish Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer (RFO)
Would you like to assist in the running of our Parish Council?
Role: To provide administrative support and advice around the implementation of decisions, by attending Parish Council meetings, dealing with emails/correspondence, keeping of basic financial records and budgeting.
Person: You will be self-reliant, well organized and have good administrative skills, be I.T. and keyboard literate, familiar with Microsoft Office and Excel, be an attentive listener and a logical communicator with a passion for community service.
Commitment: Part-time; averaging eight hours per week working from home and attending a monthly evening meeting at the Brailsford Institute at 7.30pm (meetings not normally held in August)
Support: If you are not already familiar with local authority administration, we will provide training and support so you can attain the Certificate in Local Council Administrative (CILCA) qualification.
Salary: LC1 Scale SCP 7 - 12 £13.97 per hour.
